The Tonic Arts Flute Ensemble has been set up to provide aspiring young flute players with the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside professional musicians.  The ensemble is made up of a dynamic group of advanced school aged players from the Midlands, current Birmingham Conservatoire students and Birmingham based music graduates and teachers.  The ensemble is flexible in size, and performs a wide range of repertoire, largely self arranged, with a bit of a specialty in creating chart hit covers!

The ensemble has performed at church and charity events, for the National Trust, and visits local care homes and schools.  In 2014, the ensemble gave the opening performance at the British Flute Society's Ninth International Convention.
